Blue Spruce Market is pleased to carry Grateful Bread Co. french baguettes, ciabatta and hoagie buns. Seasonally available: Levain and Brioche.
Bread should be stored in a dark, dry area...a breadbox is best. If you don't have a breadbox, try keeping the bread sealed in a plastic or paper bag.
Remember, bread is like fresh meat or produce: you want to buy it, and eat it. After 3-5 days (especially here in Colorado), you should discard uneaten bread and replace it with fresh!
The worst place for bread is stored in the refrigerator. You will prevent molding for a time, but the bread quickly loses its freshness and goes stale.
If you do not plan on eating an entire loaf within a few days, why not freeze a portion for later use? (Make sure to double-bag bread destined for the freezer...it prevents freezer burn.)
Desserts are made weekly or bi-weekly. We make carrot cake, pumpkin & banana breads, a variety of pies, including: apple, mixed-berry, and pecan; cheesecake, rice krispie treats and cookies.
If you would like our chef to prepare a dessert item for you, don't hesitate to give us a call at 303-674-1445.
Please give us at least 48 hours advance notice to fulfill your requests.
